It’s been done many times. Especially in boosted applications. It WILL work but you need to add in a vacuum referenced mechanical fuel regulator and flash the PCM with EFILive or HPTUNER. First setting is FPCM to “Not Fitted”. As of right now you have no mechanism controlling fuel pressure at all seeing as how the FPCM handles this. You’ll then need to set desired/default pressure at around 400kpa. Last you’d need to change injector offset VS Pressure Delta VS IGNV and injector flow rates to static fuel cell.

I bypassed the module to eliminate several parameters as the issue. It will set a check engine light for high voltage because the voltage is adjusted by the ECU.

Variable fuel pressure for different throttle position loads-full pressure for idling,partial throttle...seems as if the milage will fall as will system longevity...

I don't build engines, but since you used a thick lube and haven't ran the engine, it might have turned more into a solid, especially with a cold shop.

Theres a easier way to do this. If you have a tuner. You can change a setting from varriable to fixed speed. Yes by doing this will make the fuel b pump to 50% load. I was messing around to figurge a issue im dealing. Your the only that mentions anything close to dealing with.

What are the relay PIN numbers for each color wire?

My problem is that injectors are dumping fuel. "Truck will run but it's flooding and smoking like a diesel. Could the FSCM be responsible for that? I could see if one or two injectors went bad I would need to replace some injectors but for this bad of a fuel dump problem, it seems like some kind of programming/message issue.

i have no power to my fuel pump fuse or my relay im showing low voltage at my fuel pump pug after running a hot wire to my fuse is the ecu the problem and the fuel module hell if i know lol im jumping over all that bullshit if nothing else as a back up for a later date lol

That should fix mine for the same reason. That was a diode for reverse voltage protection. you should use a solder sucker or copper wick to remove solder. You heated and tore the copper foil trace. A little practice with either will make you a pro!

You wanna send that to me? 😂 I have been beating my head against the wall, and this hub.. It absolutely will not come off. I have tried everything I know, including cutting the pins that the springs go onto, to hold the shoes to the plate. It just ain't working.

I have a RD6018 60V/20A. unit won't power on. gotta figure out what's happening. i started off like you, seeing if problem is from display or power supply itself. using a 12V power supply, found out my display is great, no problems. now on to the power supply itself.... don't know how I'm gon fix it or at this point what im really looking for, but I'm confident I'll figure it out. and you're right, ain't much help online ....answer is always "just buy a next one" Thank for your video, sir. /bklyn👑

I've been using it for a long time in my blacksmith shop and only recently learned that if you plan to use it more than the occasional once or twice you should switch to a T rated hose for propane as the propane will eventually cause the inner rubber of the acetylene hose to degrade and thus be possibly dangerous. As well you should switch to a proper oxy/ propane regulator. The tips for propane are also different than those for acetylene. I made the necessary changes (tip, hose and regulator) to my set up and it works much better. Got it all inexpensively on Amazon.

Accuracy and price

Cleaning with acetone and flux would help with soldering. Good job on repairing the diode. A $1.00 part is much cheaper than a new power supply!

Its a returnless fuel system and with 12volts constant it will start to show very rich conditions. I actually just diagnosed and repaired a truck where they did the exact same thing. It will start dying and running poor.

How are you regulating fuel pressure?

i watched your video this morning ,after my rapid 30v 2.5a bench power supply would,nt increase in voltage at all .0.00 on the display ,i was kind ticked off ,only owning it for 5 months ,yes it was a used unit ,but it worked .and itw as great for nickel plating . just checked the diode in question ,and hey presto . you where spot on .i,ve ordered the replaced diode ,and i felt it only fair to give my thanks for the information you gave ,in your video ,plus i learnt something ,regards sion .

I bought the PS-1502DD Bench Power Supply on facebook and it does not work, it blows the fuse each time. I think it takes a 1A fuse but I put a 5A and still blows, can you suggest whats happening.
